BS OHSAS 18001 is the nationally accepted standard that sets out how to go about putting in place an effective OHSMS, ensuring our employee's health and safety in the workplace as well as defend and protect your workforce and reputation.


OHSMS promotes a safe and healthy working environment by providing a framework that allows us to consistently identify and control health and safety risks and improve overall performance.



ISO 50001:2011 Energy Management System

The purpose of this International Standard is to enable organisations to establish the systems and processes necessary to improve energy performance, including energy efficiency, use and consumption. Implementation of this standard is intended to lead to reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, energy cost and other related environmental impacts through systematic management of energy. 



Members of the British Automatic Fire Sprinkler Association (BAFSA)

The British Automatic Fire Sprinkler Association is the UK's trade association for the fire sprinkler industry. The association's members install more than 85% of the sprinkler installations in the UK and include a significant majority of third-party certified sprinkler installers as well as contractors, insurers and fire and rescue services.



FIRAS Scheme for Residential Sprinklers

The FIRAS scheme for installers of residential sprinkler systems covers design, installation and maintenance.

Using a FIRAS certificated company ensures that systems will be properly designed and that installers, assessed by FIRAS for their competence, will be adequately supervised and will only use the correct products and systems within their tested and approved scope. On completion, the installing company will issue a certificate of compliance and label their work.


The FIRAS scheme for residential and domestic sprinklers was developed in conjunction with the Fire Sprinkler Association and is now supported by BAFSA (British Automatic Fire Sprinkler Association).

CHAS is established as the market leader for health and safety pre-qualification in the UK. This scheme is dedicated to completing health and safety pre-qualification assessments to a nationally recognised and accepted threshold standard. CHAS assesses our health and safety policy statement, our organisation for health and safety and our specific health and safety arrangements. This scheme aims to assist companies and businesses with the assessment of their health and safety policies, management and practical arrangements.

A national online database of the UK's largest register for pre-qualified contractors, consultants and suppliers to government standards in terms of efficiency, time, cost saving and best practice.
