Testing 98 Sprinkler Zones in a Matter of Minutes

Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow is not only one of the most advanced acute hospitals in Europe but its also home to one of the most intelligent sprinkler systems in the world today.

Our flagship Zonecheck Addressable system was commissioned back in 2015, one of the first systems of its kind ever to be installed. The whole system is automatically managed by a single controller located in the building management suite (BMS), the addressable controller monitors all ninety-eight flow-switches, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Its smart technology also flags any errors with system flow-switches or local zone valves. Zonecheck Addressable is also incredibly sustainable saving a total of 364,800 litres of water every year while reducing maintenance costs and the carbon footprint of maintaining a sprinkler system.

"Every flow-switch at the hospital can be tested in a matter of minutes without touching a button or activating any alarms, which is ground breaking for the fire protection industry."

But that's not all, the Zonecheck Addressable system provides the most superlative testing routine in existence. In fact, every flow-switch at the hospital can be tested in a matter of minutes without touching a button or activating any alarms, which is ground breaking for the fire protection industry.
