Contractors Academy

The Project Fire Academy is a fantastic opportunity to get the latest information on regulations and fire codes and develop your knowledge of automatic fire sprinkler systems, whilst spending time in a thriving R&D manufacturing environment.

Due to the success and fantastic feedback from our first Contractors Academy, Project Fire decided to run some further one-off courses specifically designed contractors (please note this is not cut down version of our sprinkler design course). The course takes place at Project Fire’s headquarters in Staffordshire, it’s a varied and dynamic course with hybrid classroom and practical based learning, providing clear and updated information on fire sprinklers and the industry.

  • Factory tour which includes live demonstrations of the latest industry solutions
  • A look at the latest UK and EU regulations and recommendations (including BS EN 12845 and BS 9251, including the 2021 updates)
  • Basics of sprinkler systems
  • Difference between life safety and property protection
  • Water supplies
  • Residential and commercial sprinkler systems
  • Sprinkler service and maintenance requirements
  • Sprinkler head varieties and design

Our training school can cover a range of subjects and depending on availability specialist presentations by guest speakers from some of the leading companies within the fire protection industry.
